Deflationary Model

KOLMint Deflationary Model (with Burn Address & Schedule)

KOLMint integrates a minting experience built around a blind-box reveal mechanic, paired with a perpetual burn mechanism, forming a continuously deflationary token system that becomes stronger as more users participate in the ecosystem.

All actions related to blind boxes—purchasing a blind box, accelerating the opening, or performing any additional actions that consume KOL tokens—will result in 100% of the spent tokens being sent to the official burn address and permanently removed from circulation.

Burn Mechanism Design

1) Burn Address (Death Address)

All KOL tokens designated for burning are transferred to a non-recoverable black hole address:

0x000000000000000000000000000000000000dEaD

This address has no private key and no access capability, meaning any tokens sent there are irreversibly destroyed.

2) Burn Schedule

  • Frequency: Once per month

  • Execution Time: On the last day of each month (UTC / Beijing Time will be announced)

  • Scope: All KOL tokens accumulated in the burn pool during that month

  • Transparency: The burn transaction hash and records will be publicly disclosed monthly

Deflationary Flywheel Logic

As user participation and blind box engagement increase, the volume of tokens burned grows exponentially, forming a self-reinforcing deflationary loop.

Value Effects of the Mechanism

MechanismImpact

Permanent token burn

Continuously reduces total supply, creating scarcity

Monthly scheduled burns

Builds predictable market expectations and long-term confidence

More participation → More burn

User activity directly translates into token value appreciation

Irrecoverable burn address

Guarantees tokens can never return to circulation

In One Sentence

Every blind box operation fuels the burn. The more users participate, the faster KOL supply shrinks, and the more valuable each token becomes.
